February 4th, 2009 - I want my MTV

The first time I saw The Real World, it was a hell of a long time ago.  I think it had that dude named "Puck" on there.  Didn't he spit on somebody and had to go home?  Anyway, after years of casually watching, I'm proud to say that MTV has put our song "Until Then" onto an episode of The Real World - Brooklyn.  It will be on MTV tonight at 10PM ET.

I read the email today about our placement and although our song will probably only be on air for about 5 seconds, it was still very exciting.  Naturally, the first thing I did was call up Scotty so we could celebrate...

OH WAIT, SCOTT'S NOT IN THE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW!!!!

Our first National air play and Mr. O'Brien is in the Dominican Republic for his brother's wedding.  I have no way of contacting him and as of right now, he has no idea this is happening.  Hopefully he does have access to the internet and will check our website.  Actually, that gives me an idea:

Hey Scott, if you're reading this now, congrats...how exciting is this?  Oh, and I ate most of your chocolate chip cookies...sorry :)

So if you're around tonight, turn on MTV and listen for us.  They're supposed to have a graphic of our band name while it's playing so hopefully that will add a few fans to our list :)

I'm gonna go now. I have a giant bottle of champagne that I need to get through!!!

January 27th, 2009 - New song on Monday

The vacation has ended...we are gearing up to fly out to Colorado tomorrow in the middle of a massive snow storm.  Here's to hoping that we make it back in one piece.

ONE DAY ONLY. 

After that, it may never be heard again...

January 12th, 2009 - First entry of the year!

I've been sitting in front of my computer all day long trying to get the Cahill "web affairs" in order.  If you have visited this or any of our other sites recently, you may have noticed some subtle changes starting to find their way online.  Anyway, the last item on my list today was to archive the 2008 Journal, and start a fresh one for the new year.

And here it is.

I put up and advertisement on our MySpace page for our new live album being released for FREE download on this site, Wednesday morning.  Here is the tracklisting:
